I am Nadia Assad and I am running for Lauderhill Commissioner, Seat 1 because I think we can do better as a city by working together and bringing new ideas to the table. 

I will work to ensure a Safe and Healthy environment for our Lauderhill residents, businesses, and visitors.  Maintain a strong and resilient economy by streamlining processes for new and existing businesses to foster job growth, protect our seniors fixed income by keeping a steady mileage rate, and continue to promote inclusive and sustainable community services.

Some of the issues Nadia plans to focus on

  • Promoting safety for our residents and businesses by providing additional resources to reduce crime
  • Protecting seniors fixed income by reducing property taxes
  • Streamline our processes to support existing and promote new businesses to create more jobs for our residents and grow our tax base.
  • Create a green corridor to promote renewable industry in our city to protect the environment for our children
  • Promote mixed-use development for families to continue to afford to live, work and play in Lauderhill
